Pilgrim Hall Museum
Pilgrim Hall Museum is a gallery museum in the center of historic Plymouth, Massachusetts. Through its exhibition of Pilgrim possessions and Native American artifacts, Pilgrim Hall tells the stories of America’s founding and traditions in stirring detail. Among the treasures on display at Pilgrim Hall Museum are William Bradford’s Bible, the cradle in which Susanna White rocked her son Peregrine, and the great chair of William Brewster. You'll see the skeleton of the 17th century vessel Sparrow-Hawk, as well as the only portrait of a Pilgrim -- Edward Winslow -- actually painted from life.

The possessions and artifacts of the Pilgrims tell the story of brave and determined men and women, and their attempts to build lives and homes for themselves and their children in a new world.
At Pilgrim Hall Museum, you will also learn the story of the Wampanoag, 'People of the Dawn,' the Native People who inhabited this area for 10,000 years before the arrival of the new settlers. The story of the interrelationship between the Wampanoag and Colonial settlers continues through the disastrous conflict of the 1670s, known as King Philip's War.
In addition to the permanent exhibition, temporary exhibitions complement the Museum’s mission by presenting the continuing significance of the Pilgrim story through historic, artistic, and social themes.
The museum is open from February 1 through December 31. They are closed Christmas Day and for the month of January, but open on Thanksgiving Day (and all other holidays)!
