Here, in Danvers, we have a very unique classroom called The Dunn Planetarium. It is designed as a theater - in - the - round to simulate the earth and the sky as a great dome surrounding us. The children are taken away from their regular surroundings as the door closes and the lights are extinguished, and are transported to another place, time, or world, depending on the limits of their very fertile imaginations. As the sky rotates, the children feel transported to new and wonderful destinations here and beyond.
