Public Health Museum
The Mission of the Public Health Museum in Massachusetts is to educate the public about the achievements and contributions of public health in preventing disease and improving the health of individuals and communities in Massachusetts, and worldwide; and to inspire students, researchers, health care workers and public health professionals to build upon the past and continue to advance the future of public health.The museum collects, archives, and maintains original artifacts that document achievements in public health and campaigns to promote awareness of health disparities and improve the health of populations; and hosts educational seminars to promote a broad understanding of the achievements of public health.
Exhibits explore the history of public health in Massachusetts and the evolution of public health, locally, nationally and globally. New museum collections allow visitors a more self-directed and individually-paced experience.

From Route 93: Take the Dascomb Road exit west toward Tewksbury. Dascomb road turns into East Street. Just past the intersection of Livingston Street and East street, you will see the hospital grounds. Take the first driveway on your left, past the large no smoking sign. Park in the first parking lot you see as you enter. The Museum is housed in the Old Administration Building, with the tall green spire, which is just behind the Chapel.
From Route 495: Take Exit 38 south to Tewksbury. On Route 38 South, follow signs to the hospital and museum just beyond the police station at the Town Green. Turn left at the set of lights in the town center onto East Street. Approximately one mile down East Street you will see the Old Administration Building on your right. Pass this building and take your next right on to the hospital grounds. Park in the first parking lot you see as you enter. The Museum is housed in the Old Administration Building, with the tall green spire, which is just behind the Chapel.
