His short stories were, 'Twice-Told Tales,' 'Mosses From An Old Manse,' and 'Tanglewood Tales.'

Author. Best known for writing the book 'Little Women'. She died two days after her father, A. Bronson Alcott, as a result of mercury poisoning from a drug used earlier in her life to treat typhoid.
