The South Shore Children’s Museum is where play and learning come together! The museum provides an opportunity for children to discover our nation’s rich past through hands-on experiences — without ever having to leave the South Shore! Each exhibit teaches them about a different aspect of American history through exciting interactive play. From creating crafts to sharing stories, children will learn about America and have fun doing it!

We accept credit cards, checks and cash. A 50% deposit is required to hold date. Cancellation, if necessary, must be made at least 48 hours prior to the event in order to receive a deposit refund. If less than 48 hours remain until the event, the deposit cannot be refunded. For
The goal of the museum is to connect families to their community and their colorful American history by celebrating contributions made by many diverse traditions.
We host programs that focus on pre-literacy skills and encourage adult caregiver and child involvement. We also connect our communities as a regional resource through event programming such as Earth Day and Diversity Day.
We have art and music lessons that are catered towards pre-school aged children and curriculum for local field trips for K-2 students in STEM. In addition we also host birthday parties that are affordable and provide families a valuable experience.
