Founded in 1676 as a grammar school for Africans, Native Americans and colonial children, we turned our focus to the manual arts in 1889. Since then, we have taught craftsmanship and the pleasures of creativity. We are known for our excellent faculty, welcoming atmosphere, small class size, and the charm of our historic site.
Located in Boston's Jamaica Plain, the school is easily accessible by car and by T, with plenty of public parking nearby
