Many children lose interest in music and music classes around the Elementary age. Often it's because they are too old for Mommy & Me classes, think it's 'not cool' or can't find an instrument they enjoy playing. RhythmKids combines everything kids want in an environment kids need.

RhythmKids provides fun, active games appropriate for each age level Ensemble classes with friends and peers. African djembe drumming is definitely cool and easy to learn Exercise, stretching and yoga. Kids develop educational skills: math tables, languages, planets, continents, etc. They'll learn to lead, improvise and imitate, as well as basic music notation reading.
Private Lessons
The RhythmKids staff offers private lessons on drum set, percussion, voice, beginning piano and flute. We also maintain a list of recommended teachers for a variety of instruments. Our teachers and recommended teachers are not only excellent musicians and instructors, but also have a proven track record in working with students of all ages, particularly younger students. Birthday Parties
Your child and guests will take an exciting, imaginary journey around the world to experience unique instruments and sounds at every stop. The RhythmKids tour stops in an African village. We all sing, dance and get hands-on drum time together as we form our own drum circle! All this, mixed with some fun drumming-based games, will make any birthday special and memorable for everyone (...and the adults will have just as much fun as the kids)!

About RhythmKids
Based in Massachusetts, RhythmKids is an innovative and natural approach to help children and adults internalize rhythm. They creatively incorporate singing, rhythmic chants, onomatopoeia, rhyming phrases, languages, movement, exercise, math, games and drumming to help instill a strong, rhythmic pulse in their students.
