Do animals find each other appealing or attractive?

What are the similarities and differences between human and animal courtship?

What can the techniques that animals use to attract mates teach us about friendship and romance?

During this lively talk, you’ll discover similarities and differences between human and animal courtship, and gain insights about the pros and cons of relationships versus staying single in the wild.

Dr. Rory Browne, Zoo historian and member of Zoo New England’s Board of Directors, will lead the talk.

Bring your valentine, friend, or just yourself – guaranteed fun and learning await!

Price
Members: $60 | Non-Members: $65

Admission includes light appetizers, a sampling of chocolate and one drink ticket for a themed cocktail.

We'll also have wine samples from Wine Shop at Home and a cash bar.

The event takes place in the always balmy Tropical Forest, home to gorillas, ring-tailed lemurs, pygmy hippos and more fascinating species.

Proceeds from this program support the operation and continued growth of Franklin Park Zoo, its education programs and conservation initiatives.
