Alastair Moock, the Grammy-nominated folk and family musician born in Boston, will be joining WGBH’s Jared Bowen for a free Lunch Hour Live event at WGBH’s Boston Public Library studio on Wednesday, February 12 at noon. Moock will join Jared for an interview before performing a few of his songs. His new album, called “Be a Pain,” is “a joyful, musical rallying cry for young (and old) leaders in these turbulent times.
It looks to the heroes of our past (Dr. King, Harvey Milk, Billie Jean King, Pete Seeger, Cesar Chavez, Rosa Parks, Malcolm X) and our present (Malala Yousafzai, the Parkland student protestors, climate change marchers) to inspire our kids to move the ball forward.”
I thought your readers might be interested in information about the event at the library – would you be willing to post the info on your site, include in any events pieces, and/or share on your social channels?
For those who can’t make the event in person, it will be streaming on Facebook live. (Link coming soon!)
