We love dogs so much we're inviting them back for our second Dog Days of Summer Drop in Day on Thursday, August 13, with a special start time at 10:00 a.m.! A day devoted to man's (and kid's) best friend! We will feature the jobs they have, the games they play, and how dogs help people and how people help dogs.

Starting right at 10:00 a.m., The Museum is excited to have Susan Winters demonstrating with her dogs obedience, grooming, agility, Frisbee skills and more, Dick Norton from Bark Busters demonstrating with his dog safety tips on how to behave around dogs and welcoming back Bob Bruce and his dog Cokie. Cokie is a therapy service dog that goes around to many of the area's hospitals to cheer up patients with her owner Bob.

Join us at noon as Nancy Bates and Ariel, her Bernese Mountain dog, do a carting demonstration, a free style dance routine and paint one of her masterpieces! Also, Folks from the Brockton Blue Dog Shelter will be here all day with info on how to adopt a dog or how you can help the dogs waiting to be adopted. 'Drop in Days' are free with admission and any age can participate. The activities run from 10:30 AM to 3 PM. No registration is required.
