Raccoon and Opossum Facts & Fun: Boston Nature Center
Opossums are one of the few mammals that actively eat ticks, and the only marsupial in North America.
Learn these, and other interesting facts, while also creating animal art, and walking the trails looking for animal signs.
PLEASE NOTE: This program will be conducted in accordance with current Municipal, State, and Mass Audubon Covid-19 protocols. Out of state participants must follow the MA travel order found here: https://www.mass.gov/info-details/covid-19-travel-order
Groups are limited to 11 pre-registered children and adults. You must pre-register for this program; walk-ins cannot be accommodated. Participants are required to wear a face covering and follow social distancing guidelines. Mass Audubon cannot loan field equipment at this time. A detailed confirmation letter will be emailed 24 hours before the program.
