Art Moves at the Zoo!
Zoo New England in collaboration with Sean Fielder and The Movement Festival present Art Moves at the Zoo on July 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Franklin Park Zoo.
Enjoy music, dance and performances by Boston based youth companies such as The Boston Tap Company, Phunk Phenomenon, Cambridge Youth Dance Project, Tony Williams’ Ballet Rox and many more.
Visitors will be invited to move at the Zoo by participating in introductory dance workshops and joining the mascot dance party, featuring Chloe our costumed giraffe mascot! Be sure to check out live painting by Percy Fontini-Wright, sponsored by One Love Entertainment, inside the Tropical Forest building. While walking around the Zoo, be on the lookout for artists painting on easels and let your imagination run wild when making your very own puppet with Puppet Showcase Theater.
