The MSPCA is celebrating the 2012 Olympic Games by promoting the adoption of cats in their golden years.
We currently have many cats 9 years and older available for adoption, looking for a place and person to call home. While kittens and young adults cats are often adopted quickly, many of our senior cats remain homeless for weeks or even months before finding a forever home.
Summers are especially difficult, as a higher number of cats and kittens are surrendered during the warmest months of the year. In honor of our 'golden cats' we are offering a special fee-waived adoption promotion. Thanks to generous sponsors who are subsidizing the normal $95 adoption fee, we will be waiving the entire adoption fee for cats 9 years of age and up. The promotion will allow potential adopters to commit more comfortably to the ongoing care of a new senior feline companion. We hope the promotion also helps highlight the advantages of adopting a senior cat with a known personality, and encourages potential adopters to give a cat in their golden years a new forever home. Let us play match-maker and help you find the perfect cat companion!
