Hawk Watching at Pack Monadnock (Adults)
This peak provides a broad view of the surroundings and is a magnet for migrating raptors.
Watch for falcons, broad-winged hawks and other raptors.
Birds often come close, feeding on migrating dragonflies.
We will also keep our eyes open for migrating songbirds, cover bird identification, migration, and the behavior of hawks and the other birds we encounter.
Currently, September 14th is the date for the rehabilitated hawk release.
Pre-registration required.
Online registration available.
