The event will be held on Friday March 7th at KSA, 1 Commerce Way in Norwood, from 9:30 to 11:30 AM in the Kindergarten classrooms.
KSA students and staff will demonstrate their friendly pets (which will include guinea pigs, a hamster, a small dog, and a rabbit) and also will have information posted about their pet and will be available to answer questions about their pet's care.
This event will also feature a representative from Neponset Valley Humane Society who will be on hand to demonstrate a friendly rescued cat, answer questions about cat care, and provide information about locally rescued cats available for adoption.
This event is geared toward preschoolers who may be interested in getting a pet and would like a hands-on experience with young pet owners.
The event also will feature free refreshments and free pet-themed craft projects for participants to take home.
KSA staff also will be available to provide more information about the school to interested families.
Although there is no cost for the event, pre-registration is required.
There is also a requested contribution of a can of cat food or a small soft blanket, which will be donated directly to the Neponset Valley Humane Society for the care of rescued cats.

KSA is located at 1 Commerce Way, behind the intersection of Boston-Providence Hwy (Route 1) and the Stop & Shop Supermarket in Norwood. Turn at the Stop & Shop light (left turn if heading North on Route 1, right turn if heading South on Route 1) onto Sumner Street, then take an immediate left onto Commerce Way. KSA is at the end of Commerce Way.
