Meet Nutmeg the pony, Ruby the llama, Poppy the goat and Dixie the potbellied pig, in addition to our flock of chickens and herd of black and white belted Galloway cattle.
Enjoy the beautiful StoryWalk™ along the grassy “chute” to the barnyard. Take some time to hike the woodland trails to explore and experience all that Weir River Farm has to offer!
Pre-registration is required for this event. Advanced tickets are available at 10AM and 11AM with each session lasting up to one hour. Infants in carriers are free. Social distancing is encouraged and masks are recommended for anyone not yet vaccinated.
In the event of inclement weather, updates and cancellations will be emailed and posted on Weir River Farm social media pages.
Parking is located at in the lot at 140 Turkey Hill Lane, then walk down the “chute” to the barnyard. (Consider using a baby carrier in lieu of a stroller; the walk down the hill isn’t well suited for average strollers.)

Weir River Farm Barnyard Parking Area: From Rt. 228, turn right onto Leavitt St. just before the Hingham Town Library. Follow for 0.6 mi.; bear left onto Turkey Hill Lane. Lot is on right, just past New England Friends Home and across from 160 Turkey Hill Lane (please do not park in the driveway of 160 Turkey Hill Lane as this is a private residence). This is the closest lot to our barnyard and Market Garden. To access the barnyard, cross the street carefully, then walk the grassy 'chute' path down the hill towards the big red barn.
