Register today for the week-long April school vacation education program at the Franklin Park Zoo! Geared toward children ages 6 to 11,the “Wild Seasons” program will teach participants all about the seasonal adaptations of many animals.

Hibernation, migration and more unique adaptations allow animals in the wild to survive the seasonal changes in their habitats.

Do you know that arctic foxes have thick white coats in the winter to blend into their snowy surroundings?

In the summer, the coats are gray or brown to camouflage amongst rocks and other terrain.

Geared toward children ages 6 to 11, the “Wild Seasons” program will teach participants all about the seasonal adaptations of many animals.

The four-day session will include a variety of fun activities including animal encounters, arts and crafts, behind-the-scenes tours and games!

Pre-registration is required.
