Speed, Sweat, and Stamina: How Animals Are Adapted to Run
Get an insider’s look at some of the tools used to study how animals move.
Experiment with hands-on activities exploring sleek skeletons, mighty muscles, and springy tendons.
Become a museum detective and spot animal adaptations for running in our galleries.
Throughout the program, we’ll learn about the unique adaptations that you yourself have, as a result of our own evolution as efficient endurance runners.
All activities are designed to be fun and interactive experiences for families with children aged 8 – 13 to learn together.
This program is not appropriate for children under 8 years of age.
As a family activity, registration requires at least one adult and one child to register together.
