Turtle Time!
How does a turtle shell grow?
What's the difference between a turtle and a tortoise?
Come learn some really cool facts (and myths) about our scaly reptile friends that live in the Blue Hills.
This program begins in the museum's auditorium with a hands-on investigation of turtle artifacts, an up-close visit with one of our resident turtles, a story, and a turtle craft.
We then visit the outdoor turtle exhibit followed by a short walk to Trailside's pond to watch turtles in their natural habitat.
Please wear sturdy shoes and weather appropriate clothing.
Be prepared for a short walk outside.
