Tigers, western lowland gorillas and ring-tailed lemurs are just a few of the endangered species who reside at Franklin Park Zoo and act as ambassadors for their populations around the world.
In honor of Endangered Species Day, visit the Zoo on May 18 to learn more about these incredible animals.
Throughout the day, meet with the zookeepers and ask questions during scheduled zookeeper talks.
NOAA Fisheries and U.S.
Fish and Wildlife Service will be on site educating guests on endangered marine species.
Visitors of all ages are invited to learn more about endangered species and ways that they can be a “superhero” to protect these animals as well as their habitats.
Kids are encouraged to wear their favorite costumes and snap a photo with Black Panther and Spider-Man.
Please note: the Super Heroes will be available for photos in half-hour increments from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
