Conservation is at the heart of everything we do at the Zoo, so it’s only fitting that World Wildlife Day gets a wild celebration!
World Wildlife Day aims to raise awareness of the incredible biodiversity of our planet, and here at Franklin Park Zoo, we’re focusing on our commitment to conservation.
Event Schedule:
• 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. – Education Stations, Arts & Crafts (Location: Tropical Forest)
• 10:30 a.m. – Crocodile Keeper Chat
• 11:00 a.m. – Lion Keeper Chat
• 11:30 a.m. – Field Conservation Presentation (Location: Tropical Forest Hippo Theater )
• 12:00 p.m. – Kea Keeper Chat
• 1:00 p.m. – Mystery Animal Encounter in Hippo Theater
• 2:00 p.m. – Gorilla Keeper Chat
• 3:00 p.m. – Franklin Farm Keeper Chat
