Black Bear Birthday
NOTE: This event was rescheduled from it's original January date due to weather===
Black bears Smoky and Bubba are turning 18 in January and it'll be a roaring good time!
Here's what's happening:
• The bear habitat will be decorated for the occasion and the brothers will enjoy birthday enrichment created by their care team.
• Sign a giant card for the birthday boys.
• 10:00 a.m.: Get a front row seat to a training session with a member of the bears' care team.
• 11:30 a.m.: Learn more about Smoky and Bubba and discover how you can tell these lookalikes apart!
• Snap a selfie with our black bear mascot. 🐻
Just Fur Fun!
• Come dressed for the occasion in your own black bear mask (shown here).
• Zoodopt a black bear! Zoodopts support the care and feeding of our animals, and with each purchase, we'll bring a little of the Zoo to you!
• Color a bear in our Kids' Corner.
