56th Annual Maynard Christmas & Holiday Parade with Santa
Maynard will be celebrating the holiday season with a privately organized parade on Sunday, December 4th at 2:00 PM. Santa will do a fly over in his helicopter shortly before 2:00pm and then land to before the parade begins.
Join the community as we celebrate the holiday season together during the 56th Maynard Holiday Parade! This year’s theme is…CANDYLAND!!!
There will be honored guests, floats by local businesses and organizations, music, and Santa himself!
The parade will go down Sudbury St, turn right onto Main St, left onto Summer St and left onto Nason St before returning up Main St to complete the loop.
This year's Candy Land themed parade will feature:
- Santa flying in via helicopter prior to the parade as attendees make their way to the parade route in downtown Maynard.
- A food collection for the Open Table, Maynard Food Pantry and the Maynard Backpack Program.
- Maynard's WAVM radio and tv station recording and MC'ing the event live in front of Sanctuary.
- The Maynard High School Band.
In addition to entertainment there will also be over 18 organizations and businesses.
Santa will close out the parade and officially bring in the holiday season.
Please note that there will be no parking along the parade route which includes Main Street and Nason Street.
