Participants will be introduced to a variety of watercolor techniques and explore how to work with them. These include washes, dry brush, wet on wet, glazing and more. Each participant will be asked to bring in simple photos of fall foliage scenes (not too many details).

After exploring the media, each person will create a watercolor painting using the photos as reference material. Taught by Maine Arts Camp visual arts director, Marilyn Barry, who has been motivating the creativity and artistic expression of young adolescents for 38 years!
