Monday Pirate Adventures: Shiver Me Timbers... it's Pirate Time at Barefoot Books! Join us for 10am story time for some truly fun Pirate tales from our award-winning titles. Then we'll get busy making some great pirate arts & crafts. Costumes welcome (eye patches optional)! Crafts for ages 2 and up. Free.

Wednesday Animal Kingdom: Dust off your child's favorite animal costume and head to the Barefoot Books Studio in Concord for a morning of fun Animal stories, songs and great arts & crafts projects. Recommended for ages 2-5 years. Crafts for ages 2 and up. Free.

Friday Fairy Adventures: Calling All Fairies!! Spend a winter morning listening to delightful tales of fairy adventures and then let your inner artist go wild with some fun arts & crafts. Costumes encouraged, fairy dust optional. Crafts for ages 2 and up. Free.

Barefoot Books is located at 89 Thoreau Street in the Concord Depot. Take the MBTA's Fitchburg commuter rail line to the 'Concord' stop and you will arrive across the street from our Studio. If driving, we are just over 30 minutes northwest of Boston. Take Route 2W to Rte. 62E (RH turn at lighted intersection). Follow <1 mile to another lighted intersection; turn right onto Thoreau Street. Barefoot Books is 2 blocks ahead on your LH side.
