A few of the techniques will be shirred rugs, beaded wools, tambour, with hands on and demonstrations of other techniques like yarn sewing and a few of the shaker rugs. Most are done with a sewing needle and thread, some with a crochet hook and some are knitted. There is something for everyone.
Rose Ann's website is www.roseannhunter.com. Robyn’s focus is hooked rugs and she will share a variety of patterns and styles for participants to choose from. Join in the fun and start your own piece. Each participant will come away with at least two rugs from each workshop. Just bring along a pair of scissors, and a small kit will be provided.
