The selected artwork on exhibit represents the most talented art students from the participating schools. The styles range from energized multi-media drawings to still life studies to architectural designs. Other mediums represented are experimental sculptures, photography, painting and ceramics.
The gallery of the Lexington Arts and Crafts Society was built with the philosophy of giving local artists an opportunity to exhibit their work. In that same spirit, we are giving our local student artists the same opportunity. There is no admission fee, parking is free, and the gallery is handicapped accessible.
The Lexington Arts and Crafts Society is a non-profit cooperative based organization, established in
1935, and consists of ten arts and craft guilds.
