Since its founding in 1994, hundreds of children have made monster masks and origami, danced Capoiera and played human chess, created music videos and tilled our community garden, crafted shadow puppets and written stories, discussed social justice and cooked empanadas, while developing strong, critical thinking skills and self-esteem.
