Join Caitlyn Marsh, ceramics instructor at Emerson Umbrella (Concord), and learn more about the art of clay throwing on a wheel. Children (age 5+) will be treated to a brief demo, then take their turn!

Children can see examples of other children's finished pieces as a bit of inspiration.

Ages 5+. Limit of 12 children; register online (drop-ins encouraged to call before arrival to ensure availability). $3 per child. RSVPs required to attend.

Barefoot Books is located at 89 Thoreau Street in the Concord Depot. Taking the MBTA's Fitchburg commuter rail line to the 'Concord' stop brings you across the street from our Studio. If driving, we are just 30 minutes northwest of Boston. Take Route 2W to Rte. 62E (RH turn at lighted intersection). Follow <1 mile to another lighted intersection; turn right onto Thoreau Street. Barefoot Books is 2 blocks ahead on your LH side. Free parking in lot alongside our building or in lot directly across Thoreau Street (in spots facing the street). Ample metered street parking.
