A pirate themed arts and crafts event with stories, and fun craft and pottery projects. Costumes are welcome and pirate books and pottery is discounted for participants.

Argh, Mate-ies, ‘tis true! We are bound to tell tales of roaring seas and crafty pirates. Friends ya be if care to take part in a wee activity, or dare to make your own pirate’s treasure! [Translation: stories, fun craft and pottery.]

Costumes welcome! Pirate books & pottery discounted for participants. Ages 2+. Free.

Barefoot Books is located at 89 Thoreau Street in the Concord Depot. Taking the MBTA's Fitchburg commuter rail line to the 'Concord' stop brings you across the street from our Studio. If driving, we are just 30 minutes northwest of Boston. Take Route 2W to Rte. 62E (RH turn at lighted intersection). Follow <1 mile to another lighted intersection; turn right onto Thoreau Street. Barefoot Books is 2 blocks ahead on your LH side. Free parking in lot alongside our building or in lot directly across Thoreau Street (in spots facing the street). Ample metered street parking.
