Come learn about Native Americans through stories, songs and drum games.

Find out about the many amazing skills used long ago -- make a shell necklace using a primitive tool, explore many hands-on artifacts, learn about stone tools and how to make paint from natural materials.

We will also play some fun Native American games.

Stephen DeFlorio is Teacher/Naturalist at Apple Valley Montessori School in Sudbury (generous sponsors of this event).

Mr. DeFlorio worked as a naturalist and education coordinator at Mass.

Audubon Society.

All ages.

Barefoot Books is located at 89 Thoreau Street in the Concord Depot. Taking the MBTA's Fitchburg commuter rail line to the 'Concord' stop brings you across the street from our Studio. If driving, we are just 30 minutes northwest of Boston. Take Route 2W to Rte. 62E (RH turn at lighted intersection). Follow <1 mile to another lighted intersection; turn right onto Thoreau Street. Barefoot Books is 2 blocks ahead on your LH side. Free parking in lot alongside our building or in lot directly across Thoreau Street (in spots facing the street). Ample metered street parking.
