Hear tales from Ireland and then take a spin making making unique clay pieces -- either a Shamrock or Celtic Knot. This two-visit process is open to children ages 4+ (shamrocks) or ages 7+ (Celtic knot).

After hearing tales from Old Ireland, children (age 4+) make their own clay shamrock, designed with stamps or personalized messages.

Ages 7+ create Celtic knots using both slab and ‘snake’ rolling technique.

Clay pieces will be ready to paint (at no additional cost) in about a week.

$10 per shamrock; $25 per Celtic knot project.

Barefoot Books is located at 89 Thoreau Street in the Concord Depot. Taking the MBTA's Fitchburg commuter rail line to the 'Concord' stop brings you across the street from our Studio. If driving, we are just 30 minutes northwest of Boston. Take Route 2W to Rte. 62E (RH turn at lighted intersection). Follow <1 mile to another lighted intersection; turn right onto Thoreau Street. Barefoot Books is 2 blocks ahead on your LH side. Free parking in lot alongside our building or in lot directly across Thoreau Street (in spots facing the street). Ample metered street parking.
