In the February edition of Family Design Day at BSA Space, families will be challenged to design and build a structure that will protect an egg when dropped from a height of 12 Feet!
This classic exercise from Architecture and Engineering education, the Egg Drop requires nothing but a willingness to try, fail, and try again!
This Family Program is designed for parents and children 6 – 14 years old, a maximum ratio of 1 adult per 3 children will be required.
Tickets are $8 per person, children and adults.
BSA Space is one block from South Station.
Enter through the BSA Space entrance and come up the Green Stairs.
Program begins promptly at start time.
Family Design Day Programs encourage children and adults to observe, explore and design together.
In these 2 hour hands-on workshops, families are introduced to architecture and design through exhibit tours, walking tours or slide shows, and then complete a hands-on design activity.
Architects and Design Educators lead the activities focused on the Built Environment of Boston and the world.
