Over the years, people have come from across the country and around the corner to enjoy visits to these intimate locations across Cape Ann.
Cape Ann Magazine’s recent article entitled Atelier Adventure HYPERLINK 'http://capeannartisans.com/doc/CapeAnnMagazine-Fall2013.pdf', now available on the CAA website, gives an insider’s view of the tour.
A typical tour visitor will see at least a half-dozen studios in one day.
Recent visitors captured the spirit of the tour with this feedback:
“My husband and I absolutely loved the Cape Ann Artisan Tour….
We came up from Cohasset and were just thrilled with the beauty of your coastline.
All of the artists were so friendly and we saw excellent work everywhere we went.
We look forward to coming to another tour very soon.”
“We had just as much fun seeing the locations and surroundings of the artists as we did seeing the artwork.
It was an inspiring day.
My standout memories are the huge loom in the weaving lady's place; the bird-loving pottery lady and the husband/wife home where the lady had a huge room full of prints and paper creations.”
