Join us in making origami cranes for peace.
Long a symbol for happiness and prosperity, the crane has come to represent peace, popularized by the legend of Sadako Sasaki who was exposed to radiation during the bombing of Hiroshima.
Make one crane for our Peace Mobile and one to take home.
Project price of $5 per person, $15 per family will be donated to the Lenny Zakim Fund, which helps organizations in eastern Massachusetts work to end violence in our communities, provide housing, food, and health services to families in need, and support high risk children, teens, and young adults.
Boston’s late civil rights leader, Lenny Zakim, believed that one person can change the world.
Everyone should try.
