In this workshop, students will learn the low-tech method of saltwater etching.
Unlike other methods, which use harsh chemicals, saltwater etching is safer and accomplishes the same results.
Electro-etching is when the etching bath is electrically charged.
In this 3 hour workshop, students will be given copper to etch a pattern then will learn how to form these into a cuff bracelet.
Preparation of metal, etching solution and various kinds of resists will be discussed during this workshop.
Basic materials provided.
