This year’s Faire will include handmade cards and jewelry, intricately carved wooden ornaments by local craftsman Ron Wiik, a large selection of glassware and collectibles at the Unique Boutique, handmade American Girl doll clothes, and a marvelous Silent Auction.
As a special treat this year, violinist Anna Magee from the Parkway Orchestra will put everyone in the holiday mood as she serenades Faire-goers with Christmas music in Pingree Hall.
We’re pleased to report that this year’s Silent Auction will once again feature gorgeous hand-carved wooden bowls made by local craftsman Ken Lindgren, as well as decorative glassware, lots of popular games and puzzles for the kids, and gift cards for local stores and restaurants including The Chateau and The Common Café and Patisserie.
A catalog listing all the items in the Silent Auction can be picked up at the church office two weeks prior to the Faire.
Bidding on auction items will close at 2pm.
There will also be a Treasure Room full of great finds for everyone in the family; photos and cards by Bill St.
Laurent; a wonderful selection of handmade quilts, crafts, and sweaters; a Country Store well stocked with our famous homemade apple pies, Finnish coffee bread, fudge, and other baked goodies, and new this year, healthy frozen meals-to-go.
A luncheon featuring pizza, chili and hot dogs will be served from 11:15 am to 1 pm.
