This month, the workshop’s projects will be inspired by Chinese New Year celebrations.
Participants will prepare for the new year with dragons, which are traditionally used as part of the New Year celebration, and goats - 2015 is the year of the goat - of their own creation.
Free Drop-in Family Days are monthly free afternoon arts-and-crafts-making workshops designed for all ages to enjoy.
The projects are intended to take 30 to 60 minutes to complete, and families can drop in any time from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
Each Free Drop-in Family Day ends at 5:00 PM.
The program is supported by grants from the Acton-Boxborough, Bedford, Carlisle, Concord, Littleton, and Wayland Cultural Councils, local agencies which are supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
The Umbrella is located at 40 Stow Street in Concord, Massachusetts.
