Bring your ripped or torn clothing, your fallen hems, loose buttons, busted zippers and broken shoes, bags and belts to a textile & sewing-themed repair event.

Don't toss it - fix it!

The Somerville Tool Library and Parts and Crafts are presenting a textile-themed repair event at our storefront space at 577 Somerville Ave., Somerville.

We'll have sewing machines and talented sewers on hand to help you fix your fabric items and learn how to do it yourself.

If you are an experienced sewer, please consider dropping by to teach and collaborate with others while helping folks fix their clothes!

This event is free and open to the public, and welcomes people of all ages and sewing experience.

Parts and Crafts will be hosting kid-centric maker workshops during the event.
