Public Transportation
By Rail: We are accessible by the MBTA Commuter Rail. New Commuter Rail location at 211 Merrimack Street. Turn Right onto South Union Street, then Turn Right onto Island Street.
By Bus: We are also accessible by MVRTA using bus routes 39B and 33 (the North Andover bus line). These buses cross over the Duck Bridge and will take passengers to the Common St terminal to transfer. These routes have a flag-down policy, so people flag them anywhere along the route as long as they are not standing in the street or near street corners, intersections, stop lights, and stop signs where buses are unable to stop.
Driving Directions
From I-495(North or South) - take 'Marston Street' Exit 45B. Once off the highway, merge onto Marston Street and get into the left lane. Drive through 2 traffic lights and cross the new Spicket River Bridge. At 3rd traffic light (usually flashing) take a Left over Canal Bridge and take a right onto Island Street We are #56 on the left.
From Boston - take Route 93 North to Route 495 North (Haverhill/Lawrence). Go approximately 6 miles on Route 495 to Marston Street Exit 45B. Follow directions above to the Art Center.
From Common Street in Lawrence - take a right onto Union St. Go through set of lights and take an immediate left onto Island St. We are #56 on right.
Parking
There is a free parking lot right next to EAC building. It is tree lined, well lit, and there should be plenty of space to park.
