toothpick world build and play family day photoInspire the builder inside! Come enjoy a large-scale geometric building activity. Build your own wooden creation in an additive sculpture workshop. Hear a short talk by an industry expert about choosing to build as a career.

Ellen Kaspern will do a wood inlay demo. Attend story hour with books about building. Engage your imagination in the gallery’s interactive play space.

Or simply spend time in the exhibition viewing Stan Munro’s remarkable sculptures. Participation is included with your admission fee to the Museum.

Preliminary Schedule

Story Times
10:30 am & 11:00 am
Storybook readings for children 3 & up and adults together led by Fuller Craft staff. Books will be available for families to read together until 4:00 pm.

Art Making
10:00 am – 12:00 pm Additive wood sculpture and more hands-on crafts
1:00 pm – 3:00 pm Build-It Discs: Large-scale building in the Great Room, create a cardboard playground.

Family Talks & Demos
10:00 – 2:00 pm Ellen Kaspern will do a wood inlay demo and talk.
