Description: Can kids build it?
Yes they can!
Kids will join Bob the Builder and Tommy Mac for fun, hands-on learning activities inspired by the popular children’s series.
Children will have the opportunity to build, decorate and take home their own birdhouse.
And Tommy MacDonald, from the PBS woodworking show Rough Cut, and his friend from the Hardwood Forest Foundation will present a kid-friendly talk, “The Truth About Trees,” to teach kids more about the forest.
Families also will have a chance to enjoy an episode from the new season of Bob the Builder, and Bob himself (in costume) will be on hand for a meet and greet.
Light refreshments will be served.
Positions: Birdhouse Craft Assistants (9am-4pm), Registration (9:15am-2pm), Usher (9:30am-3pm), Photographer* (10am-noon and 1-3pm), Photographer’s Assistants (10am-noon and 1-3pm), Food Host (9am-3:30pm)
