We will have plenty of exciting activities from Sunday, April 30-Sunday, May 7 in honor of ArtWeek.
Throughout the week we’ll focus on Claude Monet and his love of his water lily pond.
Monet loved to paint light and water, especially the way the changing skies reflected on the water.
We will use different mediums each day to recreate the color-filled water scenes he painted in his new style.
And who knows?
Maybe we’ll sneak a little science in, too!
The Museum will be closed on Monday, May 1, but our ArtWeek activities will run on Sunday, April 30 from 1pm-4pm, Tuesday, May 2-Friday, May 5 from 10am-12pm, and Saturday, May 6-Sunday, May 7 from 1pm-4pm.
