Wearable art has been around since before there was fire.
Explore the MFA’s various collections of jewelry and then work on your own ideas.
Copper and brass are utilized while learning basics of jewelry fabrication including: sawing, filing, riveting, soldering and polishing.
Students also carve wax, invest their piece and cast it in bronze.
Silver is also available for purchase.
Students should bring their lunch or money for lunch at Ula Cafe (walkable) where we take a group at lunch time.
Students should wear closed-toe shoes and tie back long hair.
Intensives run Tuesday-Thursday, available 7/31-8/2.
