Activities
Character Study, 11–4 PM (closes at 4 PM)
Bank of America Art Lab, 1st Floor
Imagine, design then draw your own characters, inspired by everyday life and our installation by artist Dennis Nance. For more fun, use pattern-making and cloth to create small-scale original artworks to add to the life-size tree costume on view in the Art Lab.
Meet the Artist, 1–3 PM

Don’t miss your chance to meet artist Dennis Nance on Thu, Apr 18 or Fri, Apr 19 from 1–3 PM. Dennis will be wearing a costume he designed inspired by an ICA visitor-made drawing.

Poss Family Mediatheque + 4th Floor Galleries
Gallery staff lead interactive story sessions focused on themes related to the art on view or architecture.
Weaving Experiments, 1–3 PM (closes at 3 PM)

Wed, Apr 17—find and take a close look at several art works in the ICA Collection exhibition Entangled in the Everyday, then join Boston artist Zahirah Nur Truth and create your own weaving using a variety of colorful fibers plus repurposed materials.
Be sure to visit the Entangled in the Everyday exhibit during your visit.
