Unlike drawing, sketching is a less formal way to quickly capture your favorite sights when traveling.
But since many of us are staying home, learning a new skill can be a journey that you can enjoy from your kitchen table.
If you want to awaken your creative side (and prepare for your next adventure), sketching can help you build your visual awareness and critical thinking.
We will study the attributes of sketching using materials and subjects found at home.
Supplies needed are a #2 pencil, a ball point pen (any color), and fine-point felt pens (if available).
Sketch pads are great but copier paper can work also.
Students will need a computer equipped with a video camera, an internet connection, and an email address; you do not need a Zoom account.
