Use your imagination and create your own magic wand using yarn, ribbon, and natural objects.
Get inspired by our Yarnstorm exhibit and create your own magic wand to help spread the magic.
Join us as we embark on a short tour of the exhibit to get some ideas for decorating our wands then work on your fine motor skills as we practice simple wrapping, weaving, and pom pom making skills to embellish our wands.
Each child will create their own unique wand using sticks, yarn, ribbon, pom poms, and more.
PLEASE NOTE THIS CLASS IS FOR CHILDREN ONLY.
We are unable to accommodate adult companions at this time.
Adult companions MUST register along with their child(ren) as this class registration serves as your admission to the garden.
Adults are required to stay on the property while class is in session, this is not a true drop-off program.
Each participant will have their own socially distanced workspace and each child will receive a set of supplies to use or take home to complete their project.
Materials will not be shared between participants.
Price includes the cost of materials.
This class is held indoors.
Group size will adhere to current state restrictions and will not exceed 9 participants plus an instructor.
All participants over the age of 2 are required to wear masks if they are able to do so.
Admission is included with the class price for non-members.
Your class registration serves as your admission to the garden.
Guests are welcome to arrive before the scheduled program time and enjoy the gardens and grounds.
