Let’s switch those summer planters into fall mode!

Join Stevens-Coolidge House & Gardens and Susan Nock of Thistle Containers for a hands-on container garden workshop in our brand-new indoor program space.

The morning will begin with a private tour of the gardens in their early fall splendor followed by a hands-on container gardening workshop.

Susan Nock, owner of Thirstle, will speak about seasonal container gardening, share her favorite strategies and discuss how to design successful container gardens.

Then each attendee will plant their own container garden filled with beautiful fall flowers and plants in a lovely container to take home and enjoy.

The container, plants and all supplies are provided.

In this workshop attendees will learn:

– how to choose plants for a successful container garden;

– step by step planting techniques for an abundant design;

– how to care for your container gardens;

– how to group containers for stunning displays; and

– where to utilize container gardens to maximize your home and garden’s beauty.

Come with your container gardening questions and leave with your own unique living arrangement.
