Share the joys of springtime by making PYSANKY - eggs decorated in the Ukrainian tradition in a two hour class at Artbeat. In this special class, we will teach the techniques used in the Ukraine and other Slavic countries to create colorful designs on eggs. In the Ukrainian tradition, every egg that is decorated brings more good into the world. Learn to make traditional Ukrainian eggs with intricate patterns using melted beeswax, a special stylus, and vibrant dyes.
For Adults and children 10 and older. Preregistration required, space is limited.

Over 2000 years ago, before the time of Christ, people decorated eggs believing that great powers were embodied in the egg.
