Celebrate the Peabody Essex Museum’s newest exhibition, To the Ends of the Earth, Painting the Polar Landscape with a special Atrium Alive weekend, November 15-16. Hear legendary explorer, Conrad Dickinson's tales of ‘the hardest expedition in the world' and be transported by flutist Brooks de Wetter-Smith's performance work, Southern Ice.

This installment of Atrium Alive offers hands-on activities for children of all ages, where they can create illustrated arctic poems and learn to draw the polar night skies. Visitors will also have a rare opportunity to participate in a mixed-media painting workshop with Xavier Cortada, a featured artist in PEM's ongoing exhibition Polar Attractions.

All Atrium Alive activities are FREE with museum admission.
